Published by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Center for Research and Education on Gender and Sexuality, Nuestras Mil Caras (Our Thousand Faces) is a reflection of the experiences of 34 Latino men living in the San Francisco Bay Area, combined with art work donated by artists from the Dominican Republic, and Perú. These men, through their stories, explore issues of disclosure of sexual identity — first to themselves and then to others, specifically to family members.
