The Word Is Out Anthology is a massive compilation of poetry, fiction and non-fiction written by imprisoned members of the Prisoner Correspondence Project, with works spanning nearly 20 years of the project’s newsletter, The Word Is Out.
The Word Is Out is distributed free to LGBTQ2+ people imprisoned across the USA and Canada. The newsletter showcases writing and artwork by LGBTQ2+ prisoners alongside news, organizing victories, celebrity gossip, and more.
